The celebration will consist of a selection of songs, a tribute and speeches.
Stop by for a photo op with some of Garrett's favourite sayings and numbers.
Just stand front and center, look at the giant button and you get a print or two or a few. The Photo Booth will also generate a link at the end of the night so that anyone and everyone can access the photos online.
A quiet contemplative space will be set up for you to jot down any favourite memories or perhaps any last words. Garrett left us unexpectedly and this is meant to be an opportunity to reflect and say good bye. These messages will not be read but rather, Anna and Jen will offer them to the lake where the paper will dissolve.
POT LUCK: please bring an item you enjoyed sharing with Garrett or perhaps you were planning to share at the next event. John will have the smoker filled with briskets, pork tenderloin and chicken. Jen is thinking mac&cheese, beans and coleslaw for sides.
A small group of people will head down to the lake at dusk for three shots representing mind, body and soul. The shotgun shells used for this ritual will contain Garrett's ashes.
Sunday morning, Anna and Jen will head down to the lake with the Memory Capsule, all memories captured will be offered to the lake where the paper will dissolve and your words will be forever shared with Garrett.
